The home occupies an extended detached property set in extensive gardens in a quiet residential area near Burnley town centre, with good access to local amenities including shops, public transport and services.

Staff demonstrated strong infection prevention and control practices, with clear procedures understood and consistently followed. All staff received training in personal protective equipment use and handwashing techniques, participated in testing programmes, and wore appropriate PPE during the inspection. Plentiful supplies were available throughout the home. Additional housekeeping staff had been employed to increase cleaning frequency, and inspectors found a good standard of cleanliness across all areas. The home had effective policies, procedures and risk assessments in place to maintain safe and kind care.
