Dove Court Care Home

Dove Court Care Home provides personal and nursing care for up to 120 people across four separate purpose-built houses, each with independent facilities. One house specialises in caring for people with complex dementia nursing needs. At inspection, 108 people were using the service.

Staff had received safeguarding training and people felt safe living at the home. Infection control procedures were followed. However, medicines were not always administered and managed safely, and improvements were needed to staff recruitment systems. Risk assessments were not always in place to identify people's specific health conditions, and residents held mixed views about staffing levels.
