White Pearl Residential Care

White Pearl Residential Care provides accommodation and personal care to up to 18 people, with a focus on supporting those with mental health issues including paranoid schizophrenia and substance misuse. At the time of inspection, 17 people were living at the service.

People feel safe at the home. One resident said, "I feel really safe. Staff look after you, making a future for you". Staff have completed safeguarding training and understand the signs of potential abuse, with sufficient trained staff on duty to meet people's needs. Medicines are administered as prescribed, and residents are supported with a healthy lifestyle and diet. Some people enjoy preparing their lunchtime meals, with one resident commenting, "The food is great here; I love the food".
