St Mary's Residential Care Home

This residential care home provides personal care for up to 25 people aged 65 and over, including those with physical disabilities and dementia. At inspection, 20 people were living in the single adapted building, which includes a chapel.

People reported feeling safe in the home and were consistently cared for by staff who knew them well. One resident said, "I do feel safe, it's a very nice home." Risks to health and safety were properly identified and assessed to protect people from avoidable harm. Medicines were managed safely with people receiving prescribed medications as intended, and staff demonstrated awareness of safeguarding procedures to protect residents from abuse.
