Westbury Lodge

Westbury Lodge provides personal care to 8 people with learning disabilities or mental health support needs in a residential area with good access to local services. At the time of inspection, the home was operating at full capacity.

However, inspectors found significant concerns about medicines management. Staff did not keep accurate records of prescribed medicines, meaning the provider could not verify whether people were receiving their medications properly. The home also had hygiene and cleanliness issues. Although cleaning schedules existed, staff had not completed them, which increased the risk of infection control failures and potential harm to residents. The service did have sufficient staffing levels to meet people's care needs.
