Wellhead Lane

Wellhead Lane is a small care home supporting people with learning disabilities and autism. The CQC rated it Good overall, finding staff trained in safeguarding, safe recruitment practices, and enough staff to meet people's needs promptly. Personalised risk and behaviour support plans were in place and kept under review, with no use of restraint.

People said they felt safe and happy, with good access to activities, healthcare and community life. They were involved in reviewing their own care plans and felt able to raise concerns with the registered manager. Inspectors found one area, effectiveness, required improvement, though most aspects of care were working well.
