Westbank Care Home

Westbank Care Home provides accommodation with nursing and personal care for up to 40 people, including those with nursing needs and dementia. The home is arranged on one level across four wings with communal areas. At inspection, 37 people were using the service. Residents feel safe and content, with one person noting, "I feel safe, I like the windows open, but they only go so far, and I have my call bell." Another said, "I'm safe. I'm just comfortable. Everybody is very nice." Relatives confirmed this sense of security, with one commenting, "My relative is safe living here and they have always been happy living here."

Staff manage risks effectively and possess sufficient information to keep people safe. Care is provided by staff who know residents well. The home maintains safe medicine management and infection control practices, and learns from incidents when they occur.
