West View Care Home

Westview Care Home provides personal and nursing care to up to 19 people aged 65 and over. At the time of inspection, 18 residents were living at the home. Staff understood their responsibilities to protect people from abuse and avoidable harm, with risks properly assessed, identified and managed. Staffing numbers and skill mix were determined based on people's dependency needs.

Staff had adequate time to spend with residents and involved them in making decisions about their care and support. People's needs were assessed appropriately, and staff received the training and support required to carry out their roles effectively. Residents had good access to the healthcare services they needed, with staff working closely with healthcare providers to support this.
