Wardington House Nursing Home

Wardington House Nursing Home specialises in care and support for people living with dementia and is registered for up to 60 people. The provider invested in powered air-purifying respirators (PAPRs) for staff providing care to people with suspected or confirmed COVID-19, offering the highest level of protection. The matron delivered practical training to 88 care staff in small groups so they could become accustomed to wearing the respirator helmets and to help people adjust to seeing staff in this equipment. Staff felt very well supported and protected by the provider.
