Staff would challenge each other, it's all not just to protect the people but also ourselves." The registered manager described a collaborative "we're all in this together" approach. The service maintained sufficient PPE stocks, provided staff training on infection control and correct PPE use, and facilitated learning sessions with the nurse to reassure people about safety measures. Safe admission protocols were in place, requiring negative test results before admitting new residents or those returning from hospital.
