Wantage Nursing Home

Wantage provides personal and nursing care in an adapted two-floor building for older adults aged 65 and over. At inspection, 19 people were living at the service on the ground floor, with capacity for up to 50 residents. People receive safe care from skilled and knowledgeable staff who understand how to identify and report concerns.

The provider maintains safe recruitment processes and deploys sufficient staff to meet residents' needs.

Risks to people's safety and well-being are managed through established risk management processes. Medicines are handled safely with people receiving their prescribed medications as directed by the provider's systems.
