Meadowside is a respite care home accommodating a maximum of 10 people at any time. It provides occasional overnight stays for people with learning disabilities who usually live with family members or carers, with access to respite support for 84 people in total. The service encourages people to participate in their local community, with residents attending clubs, libraries, pubs, shops, cafes, swimming pools and gyms. Staff support people to move toward supported living services to increase their independence. Following the last inspection where four regulatory breaches were identified, the service has made improvements and now meets the characteristic of good across all areas.
