Victoria House Residential Home

Victoria House provides residential care with both personal and nursing support to up to 20 older people, including those living with dementia and those with physical disabilities. At inspection, 11 people were using the service.

Inspectors found significant concerns with medicines management. There were no protocols in place for medicines taken as needed, and running totals of controlled drugs were not being properly maintained. Some controlled drugs were not stored in line with legal requirements. Additionally, risks to people's safety were not consistently recorded, with conflicting information documented in people's records.
