Veryan Place

This residential care home provides accommodation and support for up to three people with learning disabilities and/or autism. At inspection, three people were living at the home, which is situated within a residential estate with good public transport links to the local community. The staff team demonstrates commitment to enabling residents to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Personalised support plans guide staff in keeping people safe whilst promoting their independence, with residents fully involved in managing personal risks and making decisions about their own safety. Staff are skilled at recognising when people experience emotional distress and respond appropriately with supportive care. Residents receive maximum choice and control over their lives, with staff supporting them in the least restrictive way possible and in their best interests. The service ensures people understand and can exercise their rights.
