Rhodsac Care Home

Rhodsac Care Home provides accommodation and support for up to 4 people with a learning disability and autistic people. Following concerns raised by commissioners, the CQC assessed the service and rated it Requires Improvement, a drop from its previous Good rating.

Inspectors found risks to people were not always assessed or managed safely, medicines were not always handled properly, and the environment was not well maintained. Staff had not always identified or reported safeguarding concerns, and quality checks by leaders had not picked up these problems. People were not always supported to build independence or take part in meaningful activities, though feedback on caring and effective support was more positive.
