This small residential care home provides personal care for up to 6 people with learning disabilities and autism, with 5 residents living there at the time of inspection. The service supports people to live meaningful lives with choice, control, and independence through person-centred care. Staff supported residents in the least restrictive way possible while keeping them safe.

However, there were concerns with how the service followed legal procedures. One person did not have a Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards procedure applied for when aspects of their care were restrictive. Mental capacity assessments had been carried out to help involve people in their own care decisions, but these assessments were not always clear and contained conflicting information. The home's audits were not effective at identifying these errors and omissions with the Mental Capacity Act procedures, meaning problems were not caught and addressed.
