Tralee Rest Home

Tralee Rest Home accommodates up to 36 older people and people living with dementia in an adapted residential building in Whitstable. At the time of inspection, 32 people were using the service.

People and their relatives spoke positively about staff, describing them as kind and caring. People appeared happy in the company of staff who communicated warmly with them. However, inspectors identified significant concerns about the governance of the service and the quality of support provided.

Safety concerns emerged around how the home managed risks related to residents' health conditions, with instances where people were not adequately protected from potential harm.
