Tigh Fruin

Tigh Fruin, in Nottinghamshire, is a residential care home providing personal care and support to people with learning disabilities and autistic people. It was supporting five people at the time of the assessment. Following an earlier rating of requires improvement, the CQC found the service had transformed and it is now rated outstanding overall, with the previous breach resolved.

Inspectors found staff treated people with exceptional kindness, dignity and respect, and knew them extremely well. Medicines were managed safely and risks were well managed, allowing people to take positive, supported risks. Leadership was strong, with proactive governance and a culture focused on helping people achieve their goals and take part fully in their community.
