The White House Nursing Home Limited

The White House Nursing Home accommodates up to 30 older people with dementia and end of life care needs in a single adapted building. At the time of inspection, 29 people were living there. The service demonstrated strong infection control measures, including a purpose-built visiting marquee with perspex screening that allowed residents to maintain contact with visitors while remaining protected. People who tested positive for COVID-19 or showed symptoms received dedicated one-to-one staff support for meals, personal care and activities, with separate moving and handling equipment and PPE provided for their use.

The home implemented digital care planning, enabling relatives and representatives to access residents' daily records in real time through a secure gateway, providing instant updates on health status, appetite and activities. Staff received training from multiple sources to ensure good practice in infection prevention and control procedures.
