The Well House

The Well House provides residential care and personal support to up to 14 people with learning disabilities and autism, though nine people were using the service at inspection. The home operates across three separate buildings: the main house accommodating five people, an annex with three residents, and one standalone building.

Inspectors identified concerns around risk management, finding that assessments were not always in place or clear for people with specific health needs that could put them at risk. Infection control practices did not consistently follow government guidance. While staffing levels were adequate to support people safely, the recruitment process required improvement to ensure people's safety.
