This residential care home provides accommodation and personal care for 6 people with learning disabilities. The ground floor building has been specifically designed to meet the needs of people with physical disabilities, and residents require support with personal care, mobility, health and communication needs. Staff were observed to be caring in their approach, with residents responding warmly to them and relatives and professionals describing them as caring.

However, care was not always person-centred. Inspectors could not be sure that people always had their own toiletries, though this was addressed immediately during the inspection. Records did not consistently demonstrate that people were given choices about the food they ate or the activities they participated in, indicating areas where person-centred care could be improved.
