The Springs Care Home

The Springs Care Home provides accommodation, nursing and residential care across three floors for up to 65 older people living with dementia. At the time of assessment, 50 people lived at the home, which had a peripatetic manager with a new manager recently appointed.

Inspectors found care remained rated Requires Improvement overall, with shortfalls in medicines management, safe environments, person-centred care and leadership oversight. Staff were found to be kind and knowledgeable about people, but delays in support were observed, including a lengthy wait for a hoist transfer, and some people and relatives felt unclear about how to raise concerns.
