Staff understood how to keep people safe, with safeguarding procedures in place and training to protect people from abuse. People's needs had been assessed with care plans and risk assessments to support safe care. Environmental risks were assessed and effective audit systems monitored safety.

Medicines management systems were in place to protect people's wellbeing.
