The Riders

The Riders is a nursing care home supporting up to 18 people, including younger and older adults with physical disabilities, mental health needs, and dementia. At inspection, 14 people were using the service. The home occupies an adapted building with en-suite bedrooms across two floors and communal areas including a garden, dining room, and two lounges.

People are safeguarded from abuse, with staff understanding their responsibility to report signs of neglect or harm. The service manages infection control risks effectively, including COVID-19 precautions. Systems are in place to learn from incidents that occur, with staff demonstrating understanding of their responsibilities in maintaining safety and quality care.
