St Mark's Care Home, in Windsor and Maidenhead, is a nursing home providing support to adults of all ages, accommodating up to 80 people. The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, following a responsive inspection prompted by safety concerns. Inspectors found four breaches of regulations, covering consent, safe care and treatment, governance and recruitment, along with inconsistent risk management, unsafe medicines practice and weak oversight of recruitment.

People and relatives generally spoke positively about staff and the care provided, and activities were available, though some felt meals could improve. However, both staff and families raised concerns about insufficient staffing to meet immediate needs, and about management not always being visible or working well with staff.
