The RedHouse Care Home

The RedHouse Care Home provides personal care and support for older people. Following concerns raised about leadership, the CQC carried out a focused inspection and found the home had made changes, including new management, and remained rated good overall.

Inspectors found a breach relating to governance, with gaps in oversight, environmental checks, consent recording and staff knowledge around eating safely. However, these had not affected people's wellbeing, and people and relatives spoke positively about kind staff, improved communication and a more visible, responsive management team. The provider took prompt action, and the CQC will monitor progress.
