The Pines Residential Care Home

The home provides accommodation with personal care for up to 24 older adults, with 17 residents living there at the time of inspection. When a COVID-19 outbreak occurred affecting both residents and staff, the team implemented national and local guidance to reduce transmission risks and worked closely with the Wirral Infection Control Team. During an infection control visit on 11 January 2022, the Wirral Infection Control Team found no concerns about how COVID-19 was being managed, and inspectors identified robust infection control policies in place at the home.
