The Park Beck

The Park Beck provides personal care to up to 37 residents, including people living with dementia. At inspection, 14 people were using the service.

Inspectors found that risks to people, such as moving and handling, were not always managed safely. Care plans and records lacked information staff needed to properly support residents. While an audit system existed, it had not identified all the shortfalls discovered during the inspection. The registered manager and provider demonstrated oversight of the service and had begun implementing improvements, though these needed further time to become embedded in everyday practice. Leadership showed proactive commitment to making required changes.
