Amber House

Amber House supports up to seven adults with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic condition affecting physical health, learning, and behaviour. The five-storey home features communal areas and a large garden where residents can engage in activities matched to their interests. Staff complete risk assessments to enable people to participate safely in events of their choosing, promoting independence and control over daily life. One relative reported, "[Person] has come on leaps and bounds since living here. They are always safe and well, and I have no concerns."

Staff demonstrate strong safeguarding knowledge and recognise signs of abuse or neglect, reporting concerns confidently and appropriately to external bodies when needed. Residents speak positively about the service and describe the management team as approachable. People feel confident raising concerns and are assured these will be listened to and acted upon.
