The Paddocks Care Home

The Paddocks Care Home provides residential care and accommodation to 38 people, with capacity for up to 100. The service is organised into three separate units, one of which specialises in supporting people living with dementia. Each unit has adapted facilities to meet residents' needs.

However, inspectors found significant concerns about how the home supports residents' autonomy and safety. Staff did not consistently support people to have maximum choice and control of their lives, or ensure care was delivered in the least restrictive way possible. While some risks to people's safety had been appropriately assessed and managed, others had not, leaving residents at risk of harm.
