Some staff were described as kind and skilled, and people praised regular carers, but frequent staff changes and poor communication meant care was often task focused. Leadership and oversight were weak, with vacant key posts and audits that failed to identify serious risks. The CQC found considerable improvement was needed to restore confidence in the home's management.
