Holmwood House Care Centre

Holmwood House Care Centre is a residential care home providing personal and nursing care to 51 people, with capacity for up to 62 adults. The service operates from a large listed building with an additional newer wing dedicated to supporting people living with dementia. Spacious grounds with secure garden areas allow people to access and enjoy outdoor space.

The home maintains robust policies and procedures in line with current guidance. Staff completed regular COVID-19 testing alongside people using the service, enabling timely identification of positive cases. All staff wore appropriate personal protective equipment including gloves, face masks, eye protection and full-length disposable gowns to minimise cross-contamination risk. Individual risk assessments and care plans were completed in relation to COVID-19, ensuring personalised support tailored to each person's needs. Clear signage throughout the service informed staff and visitors about signs and symptoms of COVID-19 and safety measures.
