About The Old Vicarage

The Old Vicarage is a residential care home in Norfolk, providing accommodation and support for older people, including those living with dementia. Further details from the most recent CQC assessment are set out below.

The Old Vicarage is a care home providing accommodation and support for up to 41 older people, including those living with dementia; 18 people were living there at the time of the assessment. A previous inspection had led to conditions being imposed due to breaches around safe care, dignity, consent, staffing and governance. Inspectors found significant improvement had since been made, the breaches resolved, and the conditions removed.

People described a clean, well-maintained home with enough skilled staff to meet their needs. They were supported to be independent, enjoyed varied activities, and were treated with kindness and respect. Medicines were managed well, relatives could visit freely, and people’s views helped shape how the service was run.
