The CQC rated the service Requires Improvement overall, finding breaches relating to risk management, staffing, person-centred care and governance. Concerns included an unresolved gas warning notice, missed medicines and staffing levels too low to consistently meet people's needs.
Inspectors found staff were kind, knew people well, and worked positively with families and professionals. However, relatives reported slow call bell response times and a lack of activities, and described the environment as tired. Governance systems had not identified or corrected these ongoing shortfalls.
