Hickling House

Hickling House accommodates up to 29 older adults, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 28 people were living in the home in a single building.

The service demonstrated thoughtful design and practice. Staff and visitors had separate entrances providing direct access, with the staff room positioned near the staff entrance to allow uniforms and PPE to be changed before entering the main premises. The home featured a purpose-built wooden lodge designed specifically for relatives to visit residents, promoting family connections while maintaining operational efficiency.
