The Mellows

The Mellows provides residential care and personal support to 50 people, including older adults and those living with dementia. At inspection, 49 people were using the service.

Staff demonstrated good knowledge of risks to people's health and wellbeing, with appropriate assessments in place. The home recorded accidents and incidents, taking action to keep people safe and referring serious cases to the local safeguarding team. Minor improvements were needed in how medicines were managed. Residents reported feeling safe at the home.
