The Martlets

The Martlets in East Preston, West Sussex is a residential care home run by Shaw Healthcare Limited. It provides care for up to 60 people with dementia, physical disabilities, older age or frailty, as well as up to 20 people requiring nursing care. At the time of inspection, 48 people were living at the home.

The provider has received ongoing support from the local authority and external healthcare professionals to improve care and governance. Significant improvements have been made since the last inspection to address previously identified risks, with the manager and staff demonstrating considerable effort in implementing changes.
