The Maples

Helen House is a residential care home for people with autism, currently providing accommodation and support for three people in self-contained flats within one part of the building. The three residents are supported by individualised, consistent and long-standing staff teams, with some staff members having supported people for over ten years. There is evidence that people have benefitted significantly from this approach.

Residents are supported to make as many decisions as possible in their lives and receive assistance in communicating their choices and expressing themselves. Staff know the people they support well and tailor their approach accordingly.
