The Hollies Rest Home

The Hollies Rest Home provides personal care for up to 31 older people, some living with dementia. At the time of inspection, 23 people were residing at the service. The home offers various communal areas including a dining room, main lounge with additional dining space, and a quiet lounge, with an easily accessible garden and lift access to upper floors.

The service maintained safe practices throughout. Staff assessed and appropriately managed risks to people's health and safety, with medicines handled according to relevant guidelines. Adequate staffing levels were deployed to keep people safe, and accidents and incidents were logged, investigated, and used as learning opportunities. Staff received adequate training to support people's needs effectively.
