Birchwood House Rest Home

Birchwood House provides personal care for up to 38 people aged 65 and over in an adapted residence with single and double en-suite rooms. At the time of inspection, 27 residents lived there with varying care needs including dementia and physical disabilities.

Residents were well supported to maintain contact with family and friends through telephone, internet, and in-person visits arranged in ways that minimised infection risks. The home demonstrated good practice in facilitating meaningful connections for its residents.
