About The Hermitage

The Hermitage is a residential care home in Cambridgeshire. The findings below set out what CQC inspectors observed there.

The Hermitage, in Cambridgeshire, is a care home providing accommodation for up to 24 people, with 15 people living there at the time of the CQC's assessment. It has communal areas across two floors and access to a well-kept garden. The overall rating remains Good.

Inspectors found people felt safe and well cared for, with staff who knew them well and supported their independence and choices. However, care records did not show people were involved in planning their own care, and governance processes had not identified this shortfall, an area the CQC expects the home to address.
