Field House Residential Care Home for the Elderly

Field House accommodates up to 49 older people in an adapted building, including those living with dementia. At inspection, 36 residents were receiving care. The home provides personal care and accommodation as a single package.

Inspectors found that while no one had been harmed, the home had not always acted promptly to keep people safe. Fire safety required improvement and hot water was not consistently provided at a safe temperature. The quality assurance system had failed to identify these issues in time for appropriate action. Following the inspection, the provider took immediate steps to address the required improvements.
