Keneydon House

Keneydon House provides personal care and accommodation for up to 21 older people, some of whom live with dementia. At inspection, 17 people were residing at the service in one adapted building with shared communal areas including lounges, a dining room, and a garden.

The provider had systems in place to help ensure the service met people's needs and kept them safe. However, inspectors identified shortfalls in guidance for staff administering medicines prescribed to be given 'when required', and in records relating to the administration of prescribed creams. The registered manager took immediate action to reduce the risk of harm occurring.
