The Heathers Nursing Home

This nursing home accommodates up to 47 people across two adapted floors, providing personal and nursing care to those living with dementia and other needs. At inspection, 33 people were using the service. Staff were trained to recognise and report harm or abuse, with robust systems in place for assessing and managing risks. Medicines were managed in accordance with policies and procedures, and safe recruitment practices ensured staff suitability. The home maintained effective infection prevention and control procedures alongside systems to monitor and review accidents and incidents.
