Needwood House Nursing Home

Needwood House provides personal and nursing care to up to 33 people, including older adults, those living with dementia, people with mental health concerns, and younger adults. The service operates across two floors in an adapted building with communal rooms on each floor, a conservatory, and an enclosed garden. At the time of inspection, 31 people were using the service.

While governance systems were in place to keep people safe, inspectors identified areas requiring improvement that had not been identified by existing systems. These included improvements needed to the physical aspects of the home, additional staff training, outdated care documentation, and other enhancements to service quality.
