The Hawthorns Care Home

The Hawthornes provides personal and nursing care to up to 23 people aged 65 and over across two floors of an adapted Victorian building. At the time of inspection, 19 people were living there.

Staff supported residents to maintain regular contact with friends and family and were mindful of the impact isolation could have on wellbeing. When residents needed to isolate, staff helped them engage in activities and interests during this time. The home had implemented zoning and grouping principles to help manage outbreaks effectively.
