The Fountains Care Centre

The Fountains Care Centre provides personal and nursing care to 33 residents aged 65 and over, with capacity for up to 62 people. This purpose-built home spans four floors, with the ground and first floors in active use at the time of inspection. The second floor was being prepared as a designated setting to accommodate people transitioning from hospital following COVID-19.

The service had implemented systems to protect residents from abuse, including risk assessments that identified individual hazards and mitigation strategies. These safeguarding measures demonstrated the home's commitment to ensuring resident safety and wellbeing across all areas of care provision.
