The CQC found the service requires improvement overall, following an inspection prompted by concerns raised about care quality. Inspectors identified breaches relating to safe care and governance, including gaps in medicines records and unaddressed environmental hazards, though no evidence that anyone had been harmed.
Care planning, staff training and recruitment were found to be effective, and people and relatives described staff as friendly, caring and responsive. Some relatives felt weekend staffing limited activities, and the provider has been asked to submit an action plan addressing the shortfalls found.
