The Firs Care Home

The Firs Care Home accommodates 32 older people, including those living with varying degrees of dementia. The ground-floor facility features communal lounge and dining areas. At the time of inspection, all 32 places were occupied.

Inspectors observed that staff interactions with residents were respectful and caring. Residents appeared content and engaged in activities throughout the home. However, care plans require improvement to better communicate individual needs, personal preferences, and support requirements to all staff members.
