The Elms

The Elms provides accommodation, care and support for up to four adults, some of whom may be living with a learning disability and/or autism. Four people were living at the home at the time of the CQC assessment. Inspectors found the service was performing well and rated it Good overall.

Staff understood safeguarding procedures, felt confident concerns would be acted on, and were suitably trained, with safe recruitment checks in place. Risks were well managed and staffing levels were sufficient. People and relatives spoke positively, describing a homely, caring atmosphere where individual needs and preferences were respected.
