Nightingale

Nightingale is a care home providing accommodation and support for up to 12 younger adults, some living with a learning disability and/or autism. At the time of the assessment, 10 people lived at the home. The CQC rated the service Good overall, finding that people received respectful, person-centred care that promoted choice and independence, with safe staffing levels and robust recruitment practices.

Inspectors found staff knowledgeable about safeguarding and mental capacity requirements, with appropriate legal authorisations in place. Relatives described a warm, family-like atmosphere with consistent, genuine care. Activities were inclusive and meaningful, and people and families were involved in care planning throughout.
